About Us
Our Mission
“If you have a body, you’re an athlete” - Bill Bowerman
At Stronghold PT, we are dedicated to raising healthcare standards by seamlessly blending physical performance and rehabilitation. Our mission is to ensure that athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and individuals recovering from injuries receive holistic care that optimizes their physical capabilities. Through advanced therapeutic techniques, personalized treatment plans, and a commitment to evidence-based practices, we empower our clients to achieve peak performance, prevent injuries, and enhance overall well-being. At the heart of our mission is a dedication to fostering long-term health and athletic success, guided by compassion, expertise, and a relentless pursuit of excellence in physical therapy.
1-on-1 Personalized care
Unlike traditional physical therapy, where therapists often work with 3-4 patients simultaneously, we take on a more personalized approach where you’ll always be treated one-on-one with the same therapist which is essential for optimal recovery and performance. Our PT’s can thoroughly assess each patient's condition, needs, and goals, creating customized treatment plans for maximum effectiveness. Close monitoring allows for immediate adjustments, ensuring proper technique and preventing complications, leading to faster recovery and improved outcomes. The strong therapist-patient relationship fosters motivation and active participation, while personalized education equips patients with long-term health and injury prevention strategies for sustained progress.
Treated by a Doctor of Physical Therapy
Being treated by a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) offers significant advantages over care provided by a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or Physical Therapy Technician (PT Tech). Our DPTs, with their advanced doctoral-level training, conduct thorough evaluations, diagnose conditions, and create personalized treatment plans. At our facility, we employ only DPTs, ensuring patients receive direct, expert care. DPTs continuously assess progress and adjust treatments, optimizing outcomes through their specialized knowledge. While PTAs and PT Techs support DPTs, they cannot diagnose or independently modify treatment plans, underscoring the value of DPT-led care for optimal rehabilitation and performance enhancement.
holistic Approach beyond the Traditional medical model
At Stronghold PT, we go beyond the traditional medical model by taking a holistic approach to each patient. We integrate evidence-based practices to enhance overall well-being and performance, assessing biomechanical imbalances, movement patterns, and lifestyle factors. We prioritize patient education, providing strategies for managing conditions, preventing future issues, and optimizing long-term health. Advanced techniques like manual therapy, dry needling, and blood flow restriction training address acute symptoms and promote effective rehabilitation. Our dynamic treatment plans evolve with patient progress, fostering strong therapist-patient relationships and ensuring optimal outcomes beyond traditional care.
Dr. Steve Linowes, PT, DPT, CSCS
